(...) Sum total noise of the world,
everything that must be known, a
muted celebration, a regime of
light you can feel the weight of...
Mist... Slowly seeps through the
pores of your mind. A whispering
force fans the flames, "Not
enough!" surging through your
blood, "More!" A messenger,
cracked under the heat on the
horizon, calls out, "Now!"
The exhibition brings together
installation, video, sculpture and
drawing exploring individual and
collective sources of unease and
coping reflexes. Taking inspiration from niche media outlets,
popular consumer culture, mechanisms of control and fabricated
desires, ‘süperendişe’ circles
around its subject matter and
imitates the entangled relationship between cause and effect.
